Selling to Us: We're always looking for new products
We pride ourselves on having the largest selection of Science and Nature products available anywhere and we are always looking to add new products.  If you have something that you would like to sell to us, then we may be interested if it meets our requirements. The following sets forth some of the considerations that go into selecting products.

What we are looking for
1.  The product fits into our product line.  Specifically, this means that it relates to Science and Nature.
We are especially interested in educational products.
2.  It is a product that we think our customers would enjoy.
3.  The product is safe and backed by a reputable company.
4.  Nature products - such as minerals, fossils, butterfly and insect specimens, skulls, skeletons, hides, furs,
shells, etc - must be lawfully obtained in accordance with sound conservation practices.  Most of those
we obtain are the byproduct of other industries or are raised on special farms and thus not taken from
the wild, or they come      from recognized conservation organizations.
5.  Ongoing supply.  It takes a lot of time and effort to introduce new products: web pages must be prepared,
information must be entered into our data bases, and bin boxes set up in the warehouse.  Because of this,
we want a constant flow of product, not just one or two items.
      EXCEPTION: See Next item.
6.  One-of-a-kind Items.  Many of our customers are professionals in their field, serious collectors or have
special needs.  We try to provide them with things that they want, and generally these are not mass-
produced, but are unique.  These include such things as unusual fossils, minerals, animal  skin rugs
and biological specimens.  We require documentation that animal products have been legally obtained
in accordance with sound preservation practices.
7.  In general, we try to select vendors that can provide us with a broad range of products.  In fact, the
more the better.  The reason for this is simple.  Each order that we place requires a relatively fixed
amount of effort.  It's more cost effective for us to spread it across twenty or thirty items, then one or two.
8.  The product should cause no severe shipping problems.

Contacting Us
If your product meets these requirements, then send us an email briefly describing what you have.  Be sure to include all pertinent information such as sizes, availability, and prices.
Do not send photographs as some people send very large ones that take so long to download that they tie up our system.  Do not  include any attachments.  Because of the ongoing threat of computer virus, company policy prohibits opening any such email.  It will be discarded unread.  If we are interested in the product, then we may ask you to send photos or attachments to a special mail box established for the purpose of receiving them.
Send your initial information to buyer@web-shops.net  We will try to get back to you within a few days.
