General
Orders received before 10AM Monday through Friday
generally ship the same day. Orders received after 10AM
are generally shipped the next day. Delays can
be caused by items being temporarily out-of-stock. We will notify
you of any delay exceeding 2 weeks. Please be sure to include a
phone number and an email address to ensure proper customer service and
prompt delivery
Domestic Shipping:
Most orders ship by United States Postal Service Priority Mail.
Although the Postal Service advertises that it delivers such mail
anywhere in the county within three days, we ask that you allow 7 to 14 days for delivery.
Express and Rush Orders:
Available on credit card orders only. Please call our customer
service line at 1-804-522-8281, between 8 AM and 5 PM EST Monday-Friday,
for quotes and availability. No express delivery to PO Boxes,
Military Bases (APOs) or outside the United States. Orders must be
submitted Monday-Thursday before 12:00 PM EST for quote, to guarantee
next day delivery.
Overseas Shipping:
All overseas shipments are at the sole risk of the
customer.
(1) AIR via UPS or Fed/Ex. Allow 7-10
days for arrival. Overseas shipping by air is expensive and
UPS /
Fed Ex charges are high. Computing these charges is a major
task that takes into account size and weight of package, type of
service, destination country and other factors. Generally
their charge will be at least $50.00 for even a small package.
Lager packages do not cost that much more, so if you are
considering this option, then order all you can at one time.
The Shipping Companies guarantee delivery. In the event of
non-delivery, your recourse is file a claim with them.
(2) SURFACE / SHIP via US Postal Service. Allow 5 to 7 weeks. Please include a phone number and an email address to
ensure proper customer service and prompt delivery.
This is far less expensive than air but takes more time as mail is
carried across the ocean in ship cargo containers. The
United States Postal Service will delivery your order to the post
office of the address country. At that point, it is out of
their hands. Delays can be caused by customs procedures and incorrect shipping addresses.
Such shipments cannot be insured and we will make such shipments
only at the sole risk of the customer. Please include a phone number and an email address to
ensure proper customer service and prompt delivery.
Estimated Charges
Shipping Charges are computed using complex formulas that
take into delivery agent, speed of delivery, size of package and
weight. In most cases the charges roughly correspond to the
size of the purchase. This let us establish the estimated
charges cited below. They are generally quite dependable,
but we reserve
the right to adjust charges to reflect the additional cost of shipping items of greater
than average size or weight. You will be notified of any increase in charges before shipping. |
